Glenshire is a sunny neighborhood, located about five miles east of downtown Truckee. The lower snow load, great elementary school, and 25 minute commute to Reno make Glenshire very popular with full-time residents. The Glenshire Homeowner Association amenities include a swimming pool, clubhouse, equestrian easements, and tennis courts. There are subdivisions within Glenshire, and these include Cambridge Estate, The Meadows, Juniper Creek Ranch, and Juniper Hills. This is a preferred area for Truckee Locals with over 80% of residents being full time.
Olympic Heights is a smaller neighborhood, located about a mile outside of Truckee on the road to Glenshire, and can have great views of the Truckee River and Northstar.
